With the development of LED industry, the focus of LED lighting competition has gradually shifted from light efficiency to light quality. Most manufacturers are also trying to solve this problem. Light quality has become the pain point of LED lighting market in the next stage.

The shop decoration shall have excellent quality lighting, and the color rendering index CRI / RA, R9 value, R15 value, fidelity, saturation, color temperature consistency, full spectrum, reduction of blue light hazard, illumination comfort ratio, anti glare level of lamps, etc. shall be fully considered.

Excellent lighting quality should include the following six key elements:

(1) Full spectrum (low blue) led light source

(2) Color rendering index RA / CRI

(3) Fidelity RF, saturation RG

(4) Color temperature consistency

(5) Illuminance and brightness (principle of proportion between basic lighting and key lighting)

(6) Anti glare grade of lamps

CIE defines the color rendering of the light source according to the restoration degree of the light source to the real color of the object. In order to describe the color rendering of the light source more conveniently, the concept of color rendering index is also introduced. Taking the standard light source as the standard, the color rendering index RA is set as 100. Compared with RA100, the higher the artificial lighting, the better it is.

The current lighting standard gb50034-2019 also has explicit standards, but this standard (ra80) has been implemented for many years (it was already ra80 standard in 2004).

In modern commercial lighting design, many designers and owners will consciously improve this standard value. But how much is this indicator appropriate?

We can show the following effects by analyzing different groups of lights:

(1) Turn on the high display ra95 light, and the walls and objects are truly restored;

(2) Turn on the display ra80 light, and the reduction degree of walls and objects is 80%, with a certain degree of distortion; For high-end brands, this value cannot meet the requirements.

There are standards for the lighting display of many specialty stores, including products, packaging and logo brand color system. The higher the reduction degree of lighting, the better. But at the same time, we also need to consider the cost. Generally, it can reach RA90.

For the explicit standards of some high-end brands, RA ≥ 95 is more suitable. Especially cosmetics and high-end brand products.
